[vip_students] windows 7 8 or 9

hi gang
am looking to replace my laptop.
have xp, jaws 11 and lenovo 5F02F8BC
not sure what ram memory it has.
have heard windows 7 o.s. is the way to go tho finding it hard to find one
on the internet/argos.
saw windows 8 models which look good but am told this O.S. is quite
difficult?
any advice then
get a windows 7 or 8 or wait for windows 9.?
budget 300.
