Not Paul and not a Jaws user but go to Outlook Express and open it. At the Inbox press Alt and T for tools and arrow up one to Options and enter on that. Ctrl Tab until you hear Read. The first tab you will have arrived on is General so when you press enter on Options you should hear your screen reader say General. Then like I said Ctrl Tab until you hear read. Then tab around until you hear read messages in HTML and then press spacebar to check that box. Now tab around until you hear Apply and Enter on that. then close down with Alt and F4 and go back in to Outlook Express and then open a messge. I put here my e-mail address so it will come up here as a link and if when you are on the link you press enter you should bring up a new e-mail with my e-mail address in it to reply so you just need to tab then to the Subject and you know the rest.

Not that I'm aware of Paul.

If I had, how would I change it back?

Hi Edel.

By any chance, have you changed your format settings to receive messages in
plain text. In plain text, you cannot open links.

Subject: [vip_students] unable to open links

Hi all

I am unable to open links for example those sent in an email. Before when I
clicked on the link it would open automatically.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
