Perhaps I'll try some other show, then. the one I remember I tried to
watch, but was restricted, was a couple of programmes from a series
about UFO sightings which the (UK) MoD had published documentation on.

And were they able to watch a programme? Look at the site? No
problem.
But watch a programme.

That is interesting flor but I am not sure quite true as someone on
the list in Ireland was able to look at the site for me yesterday.

Eleanor,

In the beginning, apparently you could use it in the ROI. (I
didn't
know this; I only heard about it.) Now, however, when I looked a
few
weeks ago, they had geo-blocking in place, which means that you
cannot
view their programmes outside the UK.

Now Flor picking your brains, what about the Uplayer on ITV? Can
that
work in the same way as the BBC iPlayer? Again you may tell me
you
cannot use it within the Irish Republic. I do not know.

mary,

if it helps; WebbIE now has two distinct players: BBC iPlayer
TV,
and
BBC iPlayer Radio. Those of us in the Republic of ireland
(outside
of
the UK) can use the Radio Player, but cannot use the TV iPlayer.

Paul,
I wonder if you could possibly spare the time sometime soon to
talk
me
through the B B C listen again. I have been using Web I E but it
is
not
possible now to get any of the programmes which I want as they
are
all
now on the internet I Player, I hope you know what I mean.
With regards,
Mary.
