  Hi Petrina,

What has happened is that you have accidently turned on the jaws "home row
mode". the keys to turn it on and off are "insert + space bar". This is a tool
used by blind programmers and it tries to give them some idea of what the
screens within an apploication are like. Its not a problem just a feature
accidently turned on.

  Paul.

  Hi there,

  Hope someone can help me.

If I have Outlook express open for a while, the following happens. When I
press tab to move around it says "No next window". If I try shift -+ tab it
says "no prior window. If I try and use the arrow keys it says (no characters,
some caracters, most characters, more characters, all characters.f"

I have tried turning JAWS off and on again to no avail.

I have shut down the programmes and back on again, to no avail.

All that seems to wo4rk is to shut the computer down altogether and start
again.

When this is happening a sighted person is able to move around the window
using the mouse.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

  Thanks,

  Petrina
