Hi Paul
tried playing a cd but with no sound. The wonder that is Jackie recommended i
press f10 while in media player and guess what to my embarrassment the volume
was turned down ha ha, Its always the simplest thing ha ha. Thanks for your
help, keep up the good work.

Hi Rodney, have you tried playing a CD using the "CD player software in the
accessories/entertainment menu" give that a try and let us know if at least
the CD will work. I personally hate media player and microsoft have made it a
terrible piece of software. I would prefer to use winamp now I have to say.
