Nice one Paul as Elaine lauded you for.
If that is the case Tony it defeats the purpose of the list and surely where you are seeking a reply from one individual only, it would be best directly e-mailing that individual directly. That way list members would not be commenting on the content of your e-mail.
good too the gmail starting tutorial.

Am however a little confused re the folders though so how's about a
follow-up?

This maiil is for Paul so no need for anyone else to respond.

Best,

Thank you so much.

Subject: [vip_students] Tutorial: Sending an email from within the contacts
list!

Hi All,

I was recently asked if it were possible to invoke and send an email
complete with attachment from within the contacts list of Outlook Express.
This is possible using the following way but perhaps there are other ways
of also doing this.

1. Go into your address book within Outlook Expresses inbox using the tab
key. You can always have your contact address list present in OE by
default
or if you unchecked the address list within the OE options because you
may
have wanted a cleaner Inbox window to work with then using the keys,
"Control, Shift + B" will open up the address book also.
2. As you arrow down through your available contacts, pick a name that you
wish to send an email too by simply arrowing to it.
3. Press the application key, "third key out from right of the spacebar"
or
use keys, "Shift + F10" for to pull up the same application menu.
4. From the choices, arrow down to "Actions sub menu" and right arrow in
here.
5. In this sub menu the first option will be to send email, press the
enter
key on it and a new email will open up and will have already the persons
email address inserted into the "Too field", all you have to do is insert
a
subject line and then write up the email in the body.

Notes: Just add an attachment to this mail in the usual way and send as
normal.

Paul.
