hi there,
we have talking timers that we use for our central heating and lights. this enables us to have lights coming on when it gets dark and the heating on for us getting up in the morning or coming home if we've been out. we got these from cobolt systems. if you wish i can send you the phone number, or you can google it.

Hi All,

Just wondering on behalf of a friend if anyone here on the list uses any
kind of special control units around their homes. I am talking about
controls for say alarm systems, perhaps environmental controls for heating
systems like gas or electricity and maybe even cookers.
Anything else like TVs and so on which are speech enabled for use by a blind 
or visioned impaired person. All comments welcome.
