Hi Seán
Here are the instructions to password protect a document in word.
1. Open the document you would like to have password protected.
2. Press alt F and use the up/down arrow to get to info.
3. Press the right arrow once to get to protect document and press enter.
4. Tab once to get to the encrypt file checkbox and press space to check it.
5. Type in the password you want to use and tab to ok.
6. Write in the password again to confirm it and tab to ok.
