  Hi Tony,

You can copy everything in your Favs folder on your old computer onto the new
one by goinginto the following area;

  c:\documents and settings\user name\favorites

Note: user name is your user name for the computer you are on such as
perhaps; tonysweeney or something like that.

Once in here you will see your old favorites folder. Go into it and select
all then copy and put onto a memory stick or something like this. Go to the new
machine and perform the same as above except you will be pasting the files into
the new favorites folder.

  Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] Original Url in Favourites

  Hi All,

I am in the process of transferring to a different computer and am
encountering a challenge!

I am wondering is there a way to firstly transfer the urls in my 'favourites
to the other computer quickly and efficiently or/& how can I revert some of
those urls to their original names so as I can retype them in to my 'favourites
in my new PC?

I know that I can click on the url in my old PC and that should show me the
original url which I can then retype?

  Is there a better way?

  Thanks

  Tony
