Dear Eleanor,

  Press the WindowsKey+R, type %UserProfile%\Favorites into the edit
field and press Enter.  Windows Explorer will open in your Favorites
folder.  Select the offending entry and press Delete to send it to the
Recycle Bin or Shift+Delete to banish it forever,
