Hi Frank,
If your friend is using an eircom email address then tell him to go into the
"tools menu and arrow down to accounts" Press enter here. Now in accounts
tab over to properties and press the spacebar. Next do a "control + Tab key"
to jump into the servers page and in here do the following:
1 Tab over to the incoming mail edit box. Type into this box the following
Mail1.eircom.net
Now tab over to the out-going mail edit box and type in the following,

a friend has just changed his service provider from Eircom to Vodafone
he uses Windows Mail or formerly outlook express
he can recieve E mails but cannot send
mail.Vodafone.ie
Once the above has been typed in tab over to OK and press spacebar. To
finish and close back to the inbox tab to "close" and press the spacebar
again.
