If you want to set Google as your homepage:
Go into internet explorer
Click on tools and Internet options
In the edit box under the general tab, type in
http://www.google.com/
Click on apply and then Ok.
This should work for you

on starting up my screen is reduced in size to a smaller window ,approx.one
third normal size by clicking on zoom to 150 per cent it comes back again. it
is just a slight annoyance as is therepeat page saying welcome to internet
explorer 8.I WOULD LIKE THE GOOGLR HOME PAGE TO COME UP FIRST as it used to .
i have subscribed to vip students,what sort of help do members give each
other as I am an amateur only finding my way around my computer Frank
