Hi Sandy,You make good points, I think; although, llike you, I don't know what the actual experience is. Perhaps there is a growing cohort of elderly users whose sight isn't what it used to be, etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandy Tomkins" <sandratomkins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Flor, Understanding, as I do, the need to keep all things on topic on this list, there is something of interest here which crosses the boundery of political correctness and accessibility: to wit: If a website goes out of its way to provide a larger font etc, is it actually helping those of us using screen magnifiers? What I mean, a person set up for reading the screens with appropriate software to make them accessible, are they really helped by huge fonts? I am thinking not. Some things may look like they are inclusive, whereas, in reality, they may actually be making things worse. I actually don’t know, but would be interested to know if people are generally glad of such sites or would they prefer things to be kept to the norm? Finally, political correctness has always seemed to me to be something with which to put a stranglehold on people’s stereotypes. They spend for ever looking to use the latest “correct term” they never can find it, but we can all have a good laugh while they squirm! Sandy. On 9/16/09, Flor Lynch <florlync@xxxxxx> wrote:
