    hi flor and paul t

piece of cake, with the amended command i was able to roll back to i e 7
and can now pull up the list of links.
    many thanks for yizer help.

    now
any ideas on the laptop issue.
i lost internet access and e mail about 2 weeks ago.
eircom tell me it is due to an update which upsets the ip protocol. they
tried to reset it for me but failed.
eircom says i must get onto the laptop manufacturers to resolve the problem
but they say i need to use the recovery cd , which of course i have mislaid.
anyone come across a problem like this before.
    hope ye can help .......again
maybe there is an online fix?
    regards in anticipation

    Hi Paul,

Apologies for this but leave out the SS letters as they don't count and
look at the below again as I have revised.

    %windir%\ie8\spuninst\spuninst.exe
