Hi Gang, On the problem with Jaws and title recognition and confusion with excel sheets, Might I suggest that you rename the sheets Roselyn rather than "Sheet 1" call it "Petty cash" etc. On the Hand writing recognition subject. Most owners of palm top pc's use a screen stylus to imput details using their own style of writing. This in itself is a learning curve as users have to imput each character when setting up the recognition program in the same fashion that you or I would set up dragon the voice typewriting programme which is based on the sound of the letters. But besides that Ioften wonder how complex the program is that does the voice recognition on the eircom billing service where it waits for your voice activated response of numbers and yes/no confirmations. Can anyone suggest how I might set up a website and the programs suitable for visually ikmpaired people. I have updated to JFW V10 and have had no such problems since then. I suggest your first move would be an upgrade to JFW. I'm using JAWS 9.0 and Windows XP. When you press insert and T, JAWS should read the title of the document and the package it is in, e.g. Microsoft Word document My Personal Data, if that was what the file was saved as. Now JAWS used to do this properly but today I was in Excel and I had a number of Excel files open all saved with different names. I would have had a number of excel files open before and not had this problem. When I pressed insert and T I just got Microsoft Excel Sheet one. Now this was a problem because I was to copy and paste info from one to the other, them both already containing similar info so it wasn't easy to tell which was which. Anyone any ideas? Roslyn
