Hi Brian. Thanks for this. I've managed to download a manual and get a hold of a basic tutorial and an audio review. I did talk to other visually impaired I phone users before getting one myself and you're right, it is a bit of a learning curve but, I'm sure I'll get used to it. Thanks again Damien. _____ From: vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Brian Butler Sent: 04 February 2010 14:40 To: vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [vicsireland] Re: I phone audio tutorials. Hi Damian, I am blind and have been using an iPhone since last October and I am delighted with it. It was, however, a bit of a learning curve for awhile. My daughter who is visually impaired is using her iPhone since Christmas and loves it also. I found Apple's own manual on the Internet great and their page on using the phone with voiceover gave me all the key strokes I needed to know from an accessability point of view. Can't remember the exact web pages concerned at this stage, but I know I found them by simply conducting a simple search on Google. I know you asked specifically for audio tutorials and maybe you are aware of these web pages already. If so, sorry. Hello everyone. I've just got an I phone and am looking for some audio tutorials and an easy to read manual. Obviously accessibility is a prime concern. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Damien O'Connor.
