Hi all I am designing an online questionnaire in access as part of an assignment. The first thing that people would have to enter in to the questionnaire would be their t number. This always begins with t00. We were asked to set this field as the primary key and to put an input mask on it which I did. When I try to close out of the database it won't let me until I enter a t number in to the box but the purpose of this is that there isn't ment to be any information in it to allow other people to fill it out. Another 1 of the fields is number of hours worked per week. The full amount of text is reading for me with jaws but for anyone looking it on the screen it is only displaying number of hours worked. I have it created as a number field. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what I could do to make it display all of the text. I have tried going in to the properties and changing it to double intiture and different options there but it didn't make any difference. I also want to create a data validation rule on this field but it isn't working out for me. I want to make a message display if people type in over 40 hours per week. I would also appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to create combo boxes, calculation fields, page headers and footers, text boxes, group option boxes and labels. Thanks in advance Mairead O Mahony
