Hi all,

I should just like to point out that the VICS committee made a submission to
AerLingus on this matter some time ago. As yet we have received no
feedback, though the Secretary of the society (Esmond Walshe) has said that
he received an automated response indicating that his submission had been
received.

Josh there are several issues:

1. As stated, some inaccessible combo boxes. AerLingus have gone to using
some odd javascript or JQuery-generated interface which jaws sees as
tree-controls. They are wholly inaccessible.

2. When using a mac, completing the various combo or edit fields causes a
javascript-generated screen refresh. This causes focus to be moved to a
random location on the page; though usually at or near the top.

Best,

Dónal

Hi all,

Please ignore my call for individual outlines of the problem. I have
been reliably informed that the issues with the Aer Lingus site revolve
primarily around inaccessible combo boxes getting in the way of booking.

Cheers

Josh
