If you are thinking of applying for a job at Microsoft, here's a question
that, asked at a recent interview which might have you wondering.
You are presented with 4 identical bottles of capsules.
Each bottle is supposed to contain an equal number of 10 milligram
capsules.
However, due to a manufacturing error, one bottle contains 11 mg
capsules.
You have at your disposal a scale, (not a balance), but are only
permitted one single measurement with it.
How do you determine which bottle contains the 11 mg capsules?
(Microsoft employees past and present are excluded from answering)
