Clever!
Hadn't thought of using Zoom this way. I wonder if she could do same with
youtube mobile app?

Al, if you set up a free zoom account, she could go in to zoom and record
using zoom which would give her both the audio and video.

Greetings!
Masha would like to make a recording to send off for an audition. (It’s a
possible acting gig.) So far, she’s had help with this from people using
their phones to make the recordings. Since both of us might be a little
sick, we doubt we should ask somebody to come over to help in the usual way.
(Also, the friend who has done this a couple of times has other stuff to
deal with at the moment.
We finally have a working camera with a microphone on this desktop. (The
laptop’s off for camera repairs—we hope.) Is there recording software—for
both audio and video—in Windows 10 already that she can use that is at least
accessible enough? Or, is there software she can download, install, and
learn to use without too much trouble, since this looks like a rush job?
She’ll likely need help over soon to get the video right, but that might
work out if she has the right tools on this machine. (I don’t know for
sure, but I sure hope that’s true.)
Thanks for any help with this.
Best!
Al
