I have distributed information on this upcoming course on the Tech-vi
list, <mailto:tech-vi+subscribe@xxxxxxxxx>which I run. The purpose of
the Tech-vi list is to distribute information regarding blindness
assistive technology news and events.
I referenced the original event page
<https://carroll.org/events/format-your-word-document-like-a-pro-ecarroll/>from
the Carroll Center and quoted the announcement as it appears on the
page. I would like to offer two suggestions to clarify some information
to those who may be visiting the page.
1. Would you please specify the time zone? I believe it's Eastern time
but it would be good to mention this in the announcement.
2. Unless I missed it the actual page does not indicate that there is a
fee for the course although reference to a fee was mentioned in the
message which you sent to this list. People who may be visiting the
actual event page will likely assume that attendance is free and so I
think that, at the very least, mentioning that there would be a fee
would be helpful.
