HI Justin,
We listened to 1 of your demos yesterday about morphing and found it very
interesting and it made us smile. Do you have any demos on reaper for beginners
who have never used it before?
Take care and best wishes.
Sarah and Andrew Wade.

subject: [vibe] Automation Fundamentals and Production Elements #Demo
Hi all,
First of all, for those of you that are interested, if you would like to
access archived versions of previous demos covering takes, plugins etc,
as well as my previous automation and riser demo, here's a link to do that.

Next, join me tonight at 4PM eastern, that's 9PM uk time, for another
demo that will explore how effect and track parameter automation can be
used as instruments in their own rite. ~We'll be demonstrating
automation in a Reaper context, but the concepts are applicable to other
DAWs.
We'll cover:
How to enter envelope points in a sequence
different automation modes and what they do
Take envelopes and what they're good for.
Different production element creation techniques.
Although we'll be creating and implementing risers, builds, swells etc
in a musical context, these elements are useful for other applications
as well, such as in jingle production or the creation of trailors.
For you reaper users, a little something extra. The link below will
allow you to download a project zip file, in which I have created some
risers and provided some source material for you to create your own.
the effects I have used are all freely available and most of them are
either stock effects or available as part of the free VST archive that
is in circulation. However, there are a couple that I don't believe have
made it into the archive yet, so I have provided links to them in the
project notes.

Also, at the bottom of this email, please find the tt file you will need
to access the demo if you don't have an account on Jessy's server
already. Thanks again to him for hosting.
Hope to see you there,
Regards,
justin
