I never heard of songa until you talked about it?

I've been using webpages to convert youtube to mp3 or mp4.

hi russ. um. and, i'll be darned. it seems songa was bought out by
google and dead in january of this year.

i have songa installed on my xp machine. it is also a listening
service, but, i used it only to convert youtube videos to .mp3. i can
save the video to .mp4 video too.

songa was a free download software package to my machine, and, still works fine.

saying all this, it looks that one can find an app in the google play
store that lives on. read a good article on wired here:

http://www.wired.com/2015/12/songza-is-dead-but-it-lives-on-within-google-play-music/

perhaps, i'll have to see if it also in the amazon app store. or, do a
side-load if i can find it.

although, the free online services do a great job!

it seems to be increastingly an apps rule the world /smile.

stay well ... william

What is songa?
I used a webpage where you paste in the link to the youtube url.  Then it
will convert it to mp3.
