hi don. as for the forced shut-down, it works. so, no problem /smile.
however, when one just presses down the power button and goes into the
cancel/power off window, i suspect it is possible to learn the number
of swipes down to get to power off and then just do a double tap to
shut off the kindle fire.
as for turning the voice back on. i am quite sure when i had turned
the voice guide off, i hit the power button, did the two finger press
and hold trick and the kindle fire again voiced. note: i just tried
this with my kindle fire. and. it worked!
yes. you are correct. hitting the back button will move you back to
the previous page. not sure if you have figured this out. if you swipe
at the bottom of the screen, you will go through back. home. and,
search. means what it says. if you want to go back to the home screen
quickly, that is the way i do it.
also, if you touch your finger at the top of the screen, the kindle
fire will voice, useful stuff including what is important to me,
battery life left and time.
i'm not too sure what you mean by this. does this happen all the time?
i think i remember once this happening on my kindle fire, but, i think
i was just swiping too fast. however,are you speaking of the virtual
keyboard?
One thing which I screwed up which I need to resolve is that the
screen is reversed. That is, when you swipe from right to left, I get
q, w, e, r, t, y, etc. What do I do to resolve this?
as for the above. can you explain a bit more?
as for volume, never had a problem. the rocker switch always does what
it is supposed to do. rocker up increases and rocker down reduces
volume. so, not sure what the problem is here. my volume rocker switch
is on top left side of my kindle fire. only buttons on that side. is
your kindle fire configured differently?
on a completely different topic. i configured to get digest. but, not
too great to respond to email very quickly. i'll be reverting to
standard on the list. just so ya know my experience.
