Hi William. You were very helpful. Thanks. The older kindle app his link
pointed to seemed to be to a non-accessibility plug-in (version 1.17). It
works fine though since I don't intend to read in that app and it has a search
feature built in, it meets my needs fine. I'm back to converting again.
Thanks.

Subject: [vi-kindle] Re: converting kindle books gotten with the new kindle for
pc
Hi Larry. Not forbidden here! If you go to the codex website, he has a link to
the older version of Kindle for PC that will work.
Read that page and find the link for the older Kindle for PC version here.

If you have problems, remessage and I will point you to a link on my server
where I have the older application saved for download.
Hope this helps.
Stay well ... William

Hello, I don't remember if this is a forbidden topic here. If it is,
please let me know and I will cease and desist. Earlier, I could use
codex or e-book converter to convert kindle books gotten in the old
kindle for pc into EPub that I could load on my phone or the stream or read
in k1000.
Conversion no longer works using the new kindle for pc to get content.
To kindle and jaw's credit, the books read fine in the new kindle for
pc and jaws 18 but I would like to have them available on my stream or
for reading outside of kindle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do
this now.
Thank you very much in advance.
