hi don. to answer questions.
1. yes. you can voice the fire again after turning off in settings.
when a sighted person is done with using the fire, hold down and
release the power button for 1-2 seconds. the poser on off screen will
come up. do the two-finger hold on the screen until you hear that the
voice has been enabled. lift and then swipe until you hear continue (i
think that is what you hear) and tap.
you are now in voice navigation mode.
you can do the two-finger thing also when powering up the fire. same result.
also, if i am correct, there is always an audio ring whenever
switching screens no matter if voice is activated or not. so, that
helps you know if what you want (a screen) has been activated.
2. i will create the mp3, but, give me a day or two.

this thing, could I persuade any list member to record the voice view
guide to an mp3 and email it to me; not the entire tutorial, just the
part which tells how to use Voice View along with the various gestures.
