hi. if you sideload, you are installing apps not from the amazon app
store (unless you happen to have google play store installed on your
fire) and need to turn-on "apps from unknown sources" on. that option
is found under security in quick settings on your fire.
if you do sideload, be sure to turn-off that settings after you are done.
i have both dropbox and opera (the beta version) in a folder on my
server if anyone wants to download. link follows.
