I[‚m not ashamed to admit my ignorance when it comes to Fire OS, but here’s my
question:
A couple of months ago, I purchased Voice Dream Reader for my Kindle Fire.
Although I don’t find the app as comfortable to use on my Kindle Fire as I do
on iOS devices, it works well enough. In the Fire OS world, the app is just
called „Reader.“
I frequently use voice commands to open apps. When I say to the Kindle Fire:
„Open Reader,“ it always launches the app for reading Kindle books, not books
in the Voice Dream Reader library. Does anyone know what approach I could
employ to get around this issue? Can one rename apps in the Fire OS ecosystem
and if so, how does one go about it?
After an app has been renamed, can the voice option be used to launch it?
