Alright, thank you so much for this. Then they did download properly. I
just wasn't 100 percent sure, due to the odd format. But now this makes
sense.

can listen to them using players that can play protected formats. Windows
media player can also play them. You can also purchase software to convert
the files in to a mp 3 or wav format. That is what I used to do before I got
my i-phone and the audible app.
