I am not having trouble with downloading Bard books on my Kindle so while given
your careful explanation I don't know what the problem would be,I don't think
it is necessarily a Kindle problem per se.
I know this will sound like a dumb question but did you log in first on the
Bard app on your Kindle. Assuming you did that, did you get any kind of error
saying that you had too many devices or someting similar. You are allowed five
devices using the Bard app (standalone players aren't grouped with this count)
and it is also possible with an upgrade or re-login to have the same device
listed twice though I'm not completely sure how it works. Even if you have too
many devices, you can still download books but when you try to read them you
will get the message that you are not authorized to play the book. If the
problem is too many devices you cannot solve it. If you contact your library
(the support link on the Bard website should be linked to your library) they
will probably send you a list of devices if you have too many so you can tell
them which one to delete. I couldn't tell by the descriptions which ones were
either duplicates or devices I no longer have so I had them clear all my Bard
Mobile app devices and I then logged in again to the ones I actually had and
was using. If this is not the problem, I am not sure what else it could be.

I have found two problems. 1. When downloading a book or magazine, the
download stops and starts several times during the process. This is the only
device struggling to download. My iphone and other devices download good and
are finished within minutes. On the same network.
2. And the most aggrivating one. I had trouble downloading, and now, I get a
message saying I don't have permission to open the books or magazines. I have
done this on my phone, kindle and my stream. The only one that will open the
books and read is the stream. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my
kindle, and I have asked my local library to reset permissions if possible. I
emailed them and haven't heard from them. Any ideas on how I can fix this on
my own? I was able to listen to books when I got started, but now I can't.
Thanks for any help.
