So. My fire tablet updated to the OS above on 25 March and since then, I do
not appear to be able to see the footers on my kindle books to see where I
am up to in terms of percentage or page. Now swiping right or left with a
single finger seems to move you page by page instead of moving you between
where you used to be able to bookmark and the book's contents. Has anyone
else noticed this? If so, do you know now how we are supposed to get to the
footer or has it completely disappeared. They have also introduced the
l-shaped gesture for continuous reading into the kindle app.
If you are a kindle unlimited subscriber like myself it is now easier to
return books you have borrowed though double tapping on the return button
doesn't always work first time.
