Hi all. My 6 inch 4th generation Fire and 7 inch 5th generation Fire
do not have "hands-free" Alexa with the current updated OS.
With the newest Alexa update, however, I'm not sure why it is a pain
on the home screen or just plain hard to find the home screen.
Requires the wake word while the gesture Alexa does not. Of course one
can turn off "hands-free" if wanted. Nice to have choices.
Considering the "hands-free" feature was originally touted on the new
10 inch Fire, kinda amazing that it is on this newer Fire tablet that
I picked up on sale for $30.

easy to enable/disable it in settings so it's not a problem now.
If you snap and growl at people all day, it's no wonder you are dog tired at
night
