hi stacey. i have no idea what the problem is.
however, i have shared below the link to the dropbox app on my server.
i deleted the dropbox app on my kindle fire and installed this one to
make sure it was correct. it worked. you should have no problem.
the file is called dropbox.apk in my server folder.
note that it has a different/longer name when installed.
again, this is a side-load and you need to turn on apps from unknown
sources in settings/security. just be sure to turn back off after you
are finished installing.
you will also have to find the app. es file explorer is good in that
respect. then again, you might put the app on your sd card. i don't
have a micro card slot on my kindle fire, so, don't know how that will
work. but, seems to me it should work fine.
