That's useful to know William. Thanks. I don't currently have a Bluetooth
keyboard for my Fire tablet, but perhaps I might invest in one. It didn't
resolve my problem either. I was hoping that, by opening email links to books
that were recommended to me, I would see them in the bookstore app instead of
the Internet and could put them in the list that I wanted instead of the
default Wish List. I did manage to get it to work in a fashion, but when I
added the book, it simply went straight to Wish List instead of my books list.

hi kerry. if you are using the email app on the fire and having a
problem with opening links within that email, you are not alone.
i can't open all of the links that come in the body of an email either.
some of them open to a browser, but, others don't.
however, i have noticed that using my bluetooth keyboard often fixes
this problem

Hi folks.
I don't think I'm being dim here but thought I'd ask the question just in
case I missed something.
I got an email from amazon with some kindle books that were recommended for
me. I thought I would add them to my wishlist using my fire tablet but
whenever I double tap on the link to add them to my wishlist nothing
happens. I have tried double tapping on other links such as the learn more
or the title link for the book itself but nothing happens. Am I missing
something here or am I going to have to go to amazon with yet more OS
issues?
Cheers
Kerry
