Have any of you thought about holding a dog romp in your area?
I have had one in a friends fenced yard. We invited well behaved assistance
dogs and puppies in training and let them romp and play while we had a
picnic...everyone brought a dish of food to share and than we shared some
clicker training information and suggestions and had a game or two...where the
dogs had to play...
Tic-tac-toe was fun...each dog had to sit/stay in the square for a certain time
so that the team got the square... and the teams who's dogs did the behaviors
well enough to get the squares in the row win...
We do not put out any toys that may be become a problem with guarding and
possessiveness. We had some children's play sets in the yard and it was fun
watching the dogs go through the tunnels and up the slides on the platforms.
The younger less experienced dogs tried to follow them...

Great company and a lot of fun.

Best Wishes & Wags,
