This did not work on my Galaxy S3 after it was set to factory defaults.
I also tried drawing the rectangle, but that did not work.
I tried holding and I also tried tapping the home key first, and then two
fingers, and then the rectangle, each time after the home key, and without the
home key.
My Galaxy S3 is running 4.1.2.

Hi Andrea,
Only half an answer to your question, I'm afraid. There is a way of starting
Talkback when the phone reboots, but I can only remember it dimly. It's
something like you put two fingers slightly apart on the centre of the screen,
wait for a couple of seconds until Talkback speaks and then move your fingers
apart. But, hopefully, someone else on the list will give you a clearer
description. I just wanted to assure you that it is possible.
