I don't have that device, but you might try switching to the Google keyboard. I think this is already installed, but if not, you should be able to download it from the Play Store. Hopefully someone else with an S5 will weigh in here.

Each platform has their own strengths and weaknesses. Sure, someone may
not like the Samsung keyboard, although it's hard to know why in this
case, but on Android you have keyboard options. If you don't like the
keyboard you get with your iPhone, you're kind of stuck with it.
