******************************Johann Sebastian Bach* <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johann_Sebastian_Bach>*
Trio Sonata No. 3, BWV 527 [14:42] /(a=420 Hz)/ One of the most popular of the 6 Trios. The bouncy *Andante* (RH Hoofdwerk Prestant 8' + Fluit 4' + Octaaf 2'; LH Rugwerk Holpijp 8' + Prestant 4' + Nasard 3' + Woudfluit 2'; Pedaal Subbas 8' + Holfluit 8' + Octaaf 4') modulates frequently and alternates with a second melody in easily recognizable sections. The lyrical *Adagio e dolce* (RH HW Bourdon 8' + Rohrfluit 8' + Cornet 4 St.; LH RW Dulciaan 8' + Holpijp 8' + Prestant 4' + Nasard 3'; PD Prestant 8' + Holfluit 8') makes full use of suspensions and is repeated with totally different registrations (RH HW Vox Humana 8' + Rohrfluit 8' + Fluit 4'; LH RW Holpijp 8' + Prestant 4' + Nasard 3'; PD Prestant 8'). A bold and pointedly rhythmic theme forms the first subject of the *Vivace* (RH HW Prestant 8' + Bourdon 8' + Octaaf 4' + Octaaf 2' + Mixtuur 2-4 St.; LH RW Holpijp 8' + Prestant 4' + Octaaf 2' + Mixtuur 4 St.; PD Subbas 16' + Prestant 8' + Octaaf 4') followed by a series of triplets which later accompany the first theme, together modulating merrily through many keys until D minor is reached again for the repeat of the entire first section. *Midi File available.* <http://virtuallybaroque.com/trios.htm> /Instrument:/ Bosch-Schnitger Organ, Vollenhove/Overijssel (1686/1720) -Version 2.2 - Samples by Prof. Helmut Maier <http://www.organartmedia.com/bosch-schnitger> http://www.virtuallybaroque.com/trak3201.htm*To Subscribe or Un-subscribe from music list: **http://www.virtuallybaroque.com/daily.htm*
