[vanagon] Exhaust Elbow Removal

Hello
Anyone have tips on how to remove the bolts that are connecting the exhaust "j"
elbow and the catalytic convertor on a 86 vanagon?
The bolts are really baked and rusted on there, plus the top one seems hard to
reach. Perhaps I should heat it? Or try to cut the bolts somehow?
Any help removing these three bolts would be much appreciated.
