Took a quick look at the Ben Greaner Conservation area in Chester this afternoon and was surprised at finding a White-Crowned Sparrow hopping on the grass and into some Blackberry bushes. Have never seen any up there before. Also had a fly over Green Heron, Purple Martins and more Bluebirds then I could count.
Here are a couple quick shots from about 6pm tonight. Lots of bird song all around....Great-Crested Flycatchers seem to dominate the repetoire's.
