TO ALL POLLINATOR FANS
Richmond Audubon has been invited to participate again in the Bumblebee
Jamboree at Maymont on Saturday, June 14. This is a free education event
for children and families about the importance of pollinators in our
lives. The event involves about 10 family activities near the children's
farm on the lawn area at Maymont. It is a fun and exciting day that has
drawn up to 1500 visitors in the past.
The event is from 11AM to 3PM. We are looking for volunteers to come in
shifts to include help with set up at 9AM and clearing the site at 4PM.
We will have activities and pollination-themed presentations to engage
children of all ages. T-shirts will be provided to volunteers.
Get your buzz on and help participate in this great family event! Please
let me know of your availability to volunteer by *Thursday, April 10*.
