Hello All,

Along with all of the usual yard birds, besides our Thrashers, a female
Summer Tanager was in our backyard this morning! It was flitting about in a
oak tree. I was trying to track down a singing Pine Warbler (one of 2) when
I happily realized the yellow flash I'd seen was actually a Tanager. This is
the first time I have seen a Summer Tanager at my home. Also, a male and
female Eastern Bluebird popped in for a visit. The Pine Warblers and
Bluebirds are infrequent visitors to my home, except when the Bluebirds
breed.

Enjoy the rain tonight!
