Hello All,

Hampton Roads Bird Club is in need of a speaker to make a presentation for
their May 8th meeting about Richmond's birding areas, especially the James
River Park. I will be leading a field trip for the HRBC on May 10th at 42nd
Street and the presentation is a kind of "prequel" to the field trip; this
will be a joint RAS/HRBC field trip.

Thursday May 8th (7 p.m. meeting time)
 
We pay speaker $75 and need to arrive by 6:30 to Sandy Bottom Nature Park,
(conference room) only room with big glass windows & all lights on.  Can
show slides/projector or powerpoint..30-40 min. program is all that's
needed.
 
Address:  1255 Big Bethel Rd., Hampton VA (from richmond area come I-64 east
to Hampton Center Pkwy, West exit, bear off to right at  3d light...this is
Big Bethel Rd.  will see AMC theater and shopping center...Ruby Tuesdays,
etc.
 
entrance to sandy bottom is on left across from.....Farm Fresh groc. which
is in shopping center. entrance not well lit, but should still be daylight
in May.
