Hello Birders, I managed to squeeze in a few hours of birding in the city today (James River Park 42nd St. in the am, James River Park Wetlands in the pm). I recorded 55 species in all, with Black + Turkey Vulture, and Fish Crow seen in between. As others have commented rainy day birding at this time of year is often the best. There was a nice mix of species with many winter visitors appearing and lingering neotropical migrants showing also.
