     *Mangrove Conservation: A Hemispheric Connection.  Dr. Lesley
     Bulluck - September 19*

We're pleased to welcome Dr. Lesley Bulluck as RAS' first speaker of the season. A professor in Biology and the Center for Environmental Studies at VCU, Dr. Bulluck is currently working with a population of golden-winged warblers in western Virginia and on a long term nest box study with prothonotary warblers near Richmond, VA. With interests in population ecology and bird behavior, she often uses this information to influence conservation. Her work has recently extended to a cooperative study in Panama with neotropical migratory birds and mangrove conservation."

The program will be on Thursday, September 19 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7757 Chippenham Pkwy at Custis Road. Richmond, VA Coffee, dessert and conversation begin at 6:30pm; the program follows at 7.
