Hey Jim - I think I had the same mystery bird in May 2016. The attached
photo of a bird landed on my front porch right after a storm.
I posted this shot on a bird ID site and got a response, but I did not
record what the response was. Ooops!
I think it looks very much like yours. Let me know if you find out what it
is.
