Scouting in Sussex County for sites for the upcoming VSO foray?today turned up
a number of spring migrants - BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER at several locations,
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER at Airfield 4-H Conference Center and Chub Sandhill
Natural Area Preserve, OVENBIRD at Chub Sandhill and COMMON YELLOWTHROAT? at
Spring Hill Pond.
Also, at Airfield 4-H Conference Center, a Canada Goose sitting on 3 eggs in a
large wooden box adjacent to the boardwalk.
