After being completely frozen over on Friday, the lake at Midlo Mines is now partially thawed and the Redheads are back along with a few Ringnecks, Lesser Scaup, and Shovelers, plus the resident Mallards. Because it was a nice afternoon, there were a lot of people out and parking spaces in the small lot on the east side of Woolridge Road were at a premium, while the access to the larger parking lot on the west side was closed off, for no apparent reason.
