[va-richmond-general] Hummers and cardinals

Our two female hummers have been here several days--don't know what's taking
the male so long! And I saw a lovely sight this afternoon--a male cardinal
feeding a female. She was well able to feed herself in between his finding the
largest tidbits to bring to her. Is this part of a mating ritual? Surely it's
too early for the female to be young, and she looked and acted like an adult.
