Didn't see it, heard only, calling multiple times. The bird is close to Route 6 and I was able to locate the approximate area where it was calling from. Parked at the three big cedar trees just off the south side of Rt 6 at the Rt 310 intersection, across Rt 6 from the water tower. I walked back up route 6 westward towards Goochland maybe 150 yards to where the grass at the side of the road gives way to a dense stand of honeysuckle. At that point it is possible to clamber up the bank and look out over the field. A convenient landmark is a power pole about 10 feet inside the fence. Looking out from there I could see a dense shrubby weed about 2X the height of the grass, this is where the sound was coming from but, I never could see it.
